Apps have become an integral part of our everyday lives: whether for communication, news reading or travel planning - there are applications for everything on the smartphone. Even complex access systems can now be controlled via app.
Granting and managing access authorisations with the smartphone - this is possible with our ENiQ® App. Thanks to its intuitive control, it enables convenient management of access authorisations for digital DOM locking cylinders, wall readers and fittings. Up to 500 persons can be assigned individual authorizations - for example once or at recurring times. The administrator can easily assign transponders to authorized persons via Near Field Communication (NFC) interface. "This is done locally without a cloud system," explains Thomas Schiffer, Product Manager Electronics.
Clear and safe
All system components are clearly displayed on the app's dashboard. The view of permissions can be sorted by people or devices. The ENiQ® App records up to 100,000 access events, which can also be filtered by person, device, transponder or time. In addition, device data such as battery status or firmware version can be queried. "Data protection is taken care of," says Thomas Schiffer. "The system is password-protected and data can be backed up to a PC when a smartphone is changed, for example". And - due to a very high level of data and communication encryption as well as clean development processes and documentation the DOM ENiQ® App is the first VdS 2 star certified App for electronic locking systems.
Up to 100 devices can be managed with the app. If more is needed - for example because the company is growing - the data from the app can easily be transferred to the ENiQ® AccessManagement software. In addition to DOM ENiQ® transponders (Mifare), Mifare foreign transponders can also be integrated into the system for a fee from October 2018.
The ENiQ® App will be available for download on Android smartphones from the Google Play Store in July.
